Aloo Fry Recipe (Simple and Quick)

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes (peeled and diced)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and stir well to coat them in oil.
  4. Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt over the potatoes. Mix well.
  5. Cover the pan with a lid and cook on low-medium heat for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once the potatoes are soft and golden, sprinkle garam masala and mix.
  7. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the spices blend well.
  8. Turn off the heat, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and serve hot with rice, chapati, or as a snack.
