Chines rise rescipe
Here’s a simple Chinese fried rice recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of cooked rice (preferably day-old)
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:

- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant and slightly golden.
- Push the onion and garlic to one side of the pan, then pour the beaten eggs on the other side.
- Scramble the eggs until cooked through, then mix with the onion and garlic.
- Add the remaining oil and mixed vegetables to the pan, stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice, breaking up any clumps, and stir-fry everything together.
- Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Mix well to coat the rice evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Stir-fry for another 2 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
